Join us on March 8th in Dublin at 4 pm at Kirkos for a gathering exploring a powerful artistic collaboration.
We’ll hear more about the project through conversations with Hmenou and Ahmad Mouien, alongside Bayan, who will be joining us via Zoom from besieged Gaza.
The project has involved teaching students in Gaza how to transform the sound of military drones into a musical backdrop, one they can sing over, reclaiming sound as a form of expression, resistance, and survival.
Refreshments will be provided for everyone, including those observing Ramadan! And you’re all welcome!
